When removing a file from your computer, no matter if the file was deleted on purpose or after a virus or hacker attack, the file is still located on the hard disk clusters and can be recovered using specialized applications. In this situation, you could install the DiskInternals Uneraser application, a Windows program which can get all your lost or deleted data back.

After the program is installed, the user will notice an intuitive interface which features a step by step wizard, which can guide the user through the process of recovering his lost files. The first thing to do is to select the partition from where the data was deleted. Next, the deleted file types can be chosen, for shortening the recovery time.

Optionally, the user can configure some advanced options regarding the recovery process, like the creation date of the deleted files or their size. At this point, the recovery process will begin and in little time, all the deleted files will be displayed in the program's interface, ready to be recovered. Almost each found file can be previewed before it is recovered.

DiskInternals Uneraser is able to recover the original folder structure of the deleted data. When wanting to recover lost data, the user will be able to either save it on the hard disk, burn to a CD or DVD or upload to a FTP server. In case the deleted data was located on a partition which is no longer available, the user will be able to virtually mount it, by specifying the start and end sector of the hard disk which was used for creating the partition.
